I get a lot of e-mails and queries about Irevna.

I am sorry that I can't reply to all of you. Here are a few answers to Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Just to add. I am NOT in the recruiting team of Irevna. I have NEVER conducted an interview, and what I state below is subject to the disclaimer "That I am not responsible for any erroneous information published " and you are using the details at your own risk ;)

-         FYI Irevna is the no. 1 company in India (and likely the world) in the field of "high-end" financial service outsourcing.

2)      How can I apply for a job in Irevna?

4)      What does Irevna do?

Here is what the Irevna website says  "Irevna is a high-end research and knowledge process outsourcing company with a special focus on serving the global financial services community"

You can't understand it? Well,  I've been working for almost a year, and neither can I ;), but let me try....

-         There are a number of Investment banks and Consultancy firms, that out-source their work for cost efficiency; without compromising on quality.

-         So they turn to Irevna for the top quality work, at lower than US/European wages.

-         If you get to work in Irevna, you will be doing a lot of the work for the big I-banks and Consultancy firms, in India.

-         The work includes equity research, sector research and market research. We  write research reports, update company models, do basic data entry into the models, and also valuation and suggest the recommendations to the Analysts. The work covers all aspects.  

5)      Why join Irevna?

6)      What is the recruitment process?

-         Irevna conducts written recruitment tests once in 3-6 months. Watch out for the test details in the newspapers.

-  This is followed by 1 or 2 rounds of interview.

The questions are on your academic and work experience; and some case studies/ questions to judge your technical ability in the area you will be recruited for.

Irevna also goes to  business school campuses for recruitment.

7)      When will the next test be held?

-         No idea dude. Watch out for the test details in the newspapers.
